Preparing for Shaving

Before you dive into the action, make sure your razor is fully charged.
Plug it in with the provided USB cable, wait about 1 hour 30 minutes for fully charged. You'll know it's ready when the display says "FULL 90 min".

Little tip: Use this time to prepare your skin. A good cleaning and a little hot water will soften your hairs, making shaving even more effective.

On the Attack: Mastering the Art of Head Shaving with GroomSkull®

Getting Started: To begin, press the power button on your GroomSkull® shaver. One click and then cranking up the motor will tell you it's ready to transform your skull into a smooth, flawless canvas.

Preparation of the Skull

Before you touch the razor, make sure your scalp is perfectly prepared
for the moment.

1. Dry your hair: It is recommended that your hair is completely dry when shaving dry. Wet hair can clump together and make shaving less effective.
   
   
2. Cleaning: Clean your scalp with warm water to soften the hairs and open the pores. This will provide a cleaner, smoother cut.
   
   
3. Using the Shaving Brush: If you have longer or thicker hair or facial hair, use a shaving brush to groom it and prepare it for shaving. This will also help exfoliate the skin, reducing the chance of irritation.
   
   

Skull Shaving Technique

1. Movement and Positioning: Hold palm firmly towards the shaving head under the base of your GroomSkull® razor and start at the top of the head. Use gentle, continuous movements, following the natural shape of your head. It is important to shave in the direction of hair growth to minimize irritation. Don't hesitate to make circles with your hand.
   
   
2. Sensitive Areas: Be particularly careful around the ears and neck. These areas may be more sensitive and require a light, precise touch.
   
   
3. Check and Review: After each pass, rinse the razor head to remove cut hairs. This helps maintain optimal performance of the shaver. Run your hands over your scalp to feel for areas that need extra shaving and proceed with careful touch-ups.
   
   

After Shaving

1. Cleaning: Once finished shaving, wash your scalp with cold water to close the pores and apply a soothing lotion to prevent irritation.
   
   
2. Razor Care: Clean the head of your GroomSkull® razor well under running water and allow it to air dry before storing it.

Little tip: Swirl your razor shaving head in a pool of water in your sink (head down) to remove most of the hair embedded in the blades and then open the blades to finish with a rinse with water lukewarm. You need to see through the open blades in front of the mirror.

Opening the blades:

To open the blades of your GroomSkull® razor, follow these steps:

1. Before cleaning, be sure to unplug the USB charging cable from your shaver and turn the switch off.
   
   
2. Pinch both sides of each shaving head to lift and open all shaving heads.
   
   
3. For the central blade, simply turn it 15 degrees counterclockwise.

After cleaning, to close the shaving heads:

1. First place the small central cutting head towards the slot.
   
   
2. Turn it 15 degrees clockwise.
   
   
3. Then close the edge cutter heads in turn.

And now, the Beard?

1. Power on: Press the switch button. You'll hear a satisfying click, a sign that your shaver is ready to go into action.

3. Sensitive areas: For neck hair, be gentle but firm.

Important reminder: After each use, turn off the razor and cover the blade
with its plastic protection. This will keep your razor in perfect condition for
next use.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Your GroomSkull® shaver is like a sports car, it needs care to stay in tip-top shape.

1. Cleaning: After unplugging the shaver, open the shaving heads and run them under running water. Avoid chemicals, sea water, and hot water above 60ºC.
   
   
2. Drying: Let your razor air dry. Do not rub the shaving head with a cloth, this may damage it.
